Terms of Service

1. Using the service

FigureLab3D provides AI-assisted photo-to-3D previews, digital model files, custom print preparation, and physical 3D printing. By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and provide accurate order and contact information.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve and place the order. The service is not directed to children under 13.

2. Images and permissions

You retain your existing ownership and rights in the images and other materials you upload, whether or not you purchase a 3MF file. Uploading them does not transfer ownership to us.

Only upload photos, artwork, designs, and other materials that you own or have permission to use. If another person appears in an image, you must have permission to use their likeness for the requested model and print. For a depicted minor, you must be their parent or legal guardian or have permission from one.

You give us permission to store, crop, analyze, modify, and convert your uploaded material as needed to create the preview, prepare the model or print, fulfill the order, provide support, secure the service, and comply with law. Uploaded customer photos and reference images may also be used to train and retrain internal models and improve our workflows, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use and prohibited uses

You must not use the service, its AI components, or their output for any of the following:

• violating any applicable law or regulation;
• exploiting, harming, or attempting to exploit or harm minors;
• creating or spreading verifiably false information for the purpose of harming others;
• creating or spreading personally identifiable information that can be used to harm a person;
• defaming, disparaging, threatening, or harassing others;
• making fully automated decisions that adversely affect a person's legal rights or create or modify a binding obligation;
• discriminating against or harming people based on social behavior, known or predicted personality characteristics, or legally protected characteristics;
• exploiting vulnerabilities associated with age or social, physical, or mental characteristics in a way likely to cause physical or psychological harm;
• providing medical advice or interpreting medical results; or
• generating information for administration of justice, law enforcement, immigration, or asylum processes, including predicting that a person will commit fraud or a crime through profiling or arbitrarily targeted analysis.

Third-party AI components used through FigureLab3D are subject to their applicable model licenses. See our Third-Party Model Notices for model-specific notices and updates.

4. Content we may decline

We may review, pause, reject, or cancel content or orders that appear unlawful, unsafe, fraudulent, abusive, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, or likely to violate copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights. We may ask for proof that you have permission to use an image or design.

5. Generated models

AI-generated output can contain errors, omissions, distortions, or similarities to other output. Review the model before purchasing its 3MF. The download is prepared from the model and options you selected; purchasing it does not start a new AI generation or silently replace the model. Print preparation and physical printing may affect appearance. We do not promise that output is unique or qualifies for intellectual-property protection.

Free generation and previews: Generating and reviewing a 3D model is free, subject to the service's availability and usage limits. Clicking Generate 3D does not spend or reserve credits. A preview is for personal use and evaluation; it does not include the downloadable 3MF or commercial-use permission. After reviewing a result, you may choose to purchase that model's 3MF using credits or a direct Stripe payment. You do not have to purchase a result you dislike, and a failed generation spends no credits.

Purchasing with credits: We show the exact credit cost and file options before you confirm a 3MF purchase. Confirmation may reserve those credits while we prepare the file, but we spend them only when the verified file is ready and download access is granted. If technical failure prevents delivery, the reservation is released and those credits become available again. Repeat downloads and repairs of the purchased file within its agreed scope do not spend more credits. Buying a credit pack adds a balance; it does not start generation or purchase any model automatically.

Purchased 3MF files: Each completed 3MF purchase, whether paid with credits or directly through Stripe, includes a permanent, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, modify, reproduce, share, distribute, and sell that model and its delivered digital files, and to make and sell physical prints. Commercial projects and client work are included, with no additional commercial-license fee. The commercial rights are the same for both payment methods. Purchased, goodwill, and replacement credits provide the same rights when used to purchase a 3MF.

Commercial rights attach to the purchased model and its included exports and repairs. They do not expire when your credit balance reaches zero, you stop purchasing credits, or you close your account, and later policy changes do not withdraw that grant. A credit balance or purchase of a different model does not grant commercial rights to an unpurchased preview. Permanent usage rights do not promise permanent hosting, storage, or download access; our retention and account-deletion policies still apply.

Other purchases and existing permissions: Other digital files bought separately, such as a standalone GLB or a GLB added to a physical order, retain the personal, non-exclusive use-and-modification license offered for that purchase, unless its offer or a written agreement grants broader rights. Under that personal license, redistribution, digital-file resale, and commercial manufacturing require written permission. Buying a physical print alone does not grant commercial rights or download access to its digital model. Shared, library, and imported content remains subject to any separately stated source license. Previously granted broader rights and written permissions remain valid.

All use remains subject to applicable law, the acceptable-use rules above, applicable third-party model licenses, and rights belonging to the owner of the source image, depicted person, character, logo, artwork, or design. Commercial permission from us does not give you rights in someone else's intellectual property or likeness and does not guarantee exclusive copyright protection.

A 3MF download is prepared for printing, including the color assignments and print settings we use ourselves. Printers, filaments, nozzles, and slicer profiles vary, so we do not guarantee that it will slice or print successfully on a particular printer, material, or set of print settings, and we do not guarantee a specific color match to the preview.

A GLB download, where offered, is a general-purpose digital model rather than a print-prepared file, and carries no print-readiness assurance at all.

6. Orders and payment

Prices, materials, sizes, shipping estimates, and production timing are presented during ordering or checkout. Custom products may show normal layer lines, support marks, dimensional tolerances, minor color variation, or differences from a screen preview. We will honor any cancellation, replacement, or refund rights required by applicable law or expressly offered during checkout.

Credit packs and digital-file refunds

Unused credit packs: You may request a full refund of an entirely unused credit pack within 14 days of its completed purchase. Contact Support from the purchasing account and include the pack purchase reference. Every credit from that pack must be unused and available; credits from another pack or a goodwill grant cannot replace spent credits for this purpose. Credits that funded a completed purchase count as used even if support later returned them. Refunded packs have their matching credits removed. Free generation and preview do not spend credits.

Completed file purchases: We generally do not offer change-of-mind refunds for a working digital file that matches the model and options you reviewed. If a supplied file has a technical defect, contact Support so we can provide a corrected file at no extra charge. If we cannot resolve a qualifying problem, we will provide an appropriate refund or other remedy required by applicable law. A credit purchase can be returned to its original credit funding; a cash refund is returned to the original payment method. We will not substitute store credit for a cash refund where the law requires repayment.

Preparation and download problems: If technical failure prevents delivery before a credit purchase completes, the reservation is released after the failure is confirmed; those credits have not been spent. If a purchased file's browser download fails or you lose your copy, download it again from Purchased 3MFs at no extra charge, subject to the stated hosting and account-access policies. Included repairs do not charge additional credits.

Refund requests are reviewed by Support. A pending cash refund may hold the affected pack's credits while the payment processor confirms its outcome. If the refund fails or is canceled and no other reversal affects that payment, those credits become available again. Card refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days after processing. This policy does not limit mandatory cancellation, refund, warranty or other consumer rights, including rights that may apply to customers outside the United States. Account closure does not automatically forfeit or refund an unused balance; it requires review.

8. Privacy and retention

Our Privacy Policy explains how uploaded images and order information are processed and when customer reference images are scheduled for deletion. Keep account credentials and private guest-order links confidential.

9. Service availability

The service is under active development. Features may change, generation can fail, and availability is not guaranteed. We will make reasonable efforts to correct problems with a paid order, but no online or AI system can be guaranteed error-free or continuously available.
